As for me, I’ve learned the key to earning money from modding is knowing when to limit yourself. I enjoy these projects so much that I sometimes get lost in them. “what if we did this too? how cool would this be?!” I’m learning to not take on more than I can deliver. This type of opportunity doesn’t come around much. You either take the ball and run, or go home.

Case Mods
This is just a Quick Live Casemod which we build over approx. 18 h during a Trade Fair.
The Trade Fair is a big event for all Fans of Scale Modeling, Computers, RC Fans etc. One Part of the Fair is the german Casemodding Mastership which is held on the last 2 days of the Event.
On the First 3 days of the Fair there is a Pre-Show where we build this Mod in Front of the Audience and under the view of a dozen cameras which belongs to the different media…..
Because we didn“t had much time building it we must keep everything simple so we decide to cut out a custom window with a flame border. Beside that we change the color of the case to a solid black with blue airbrushed flames on it. For the Window we choose ACRyans 2 way mirror which is quiet perfect for our needs on this project.
Inside we covered nearly everything with a bunch of plexi sheets. They were also painted black to match the rest of the painted inside.
