Mod Shop Comic Book Challenge

Create your best mod featuring a brand, character (or characters), or theme from a comic book or graphic novel of your choice. Upload your rig, including pictures, specs, and a work log, to Mod Shop and tag it "comicchallenge". All entrants must be created from scratch for the contest – no previously-created mods, please! We strongly encourage entrants to document their builds from start to finish during construction using Mod Shop’s built-in work log functionality.
The contest will be judged by a panel of experts and esteemed judges and they will be basing their decision on the following criteria: craftsmanship, design, adherence to contest theme, and originality.
The grand prize is:
- Round Trip Airfare for 2 to San Diego, CA
- VIP Trip for 2 to Comic-Con 2008 (July 24-28), including:
- Luxury transportation to and from San Diego Airport
- VIP Tickets to Comic-Con
- 2 Passes to the Maximum PC Gaming University VIP Party where they can meet and greet with MPC editors and vendors
- $500 Visa Gift Card
- Luxury accommodations at local hotel including a nightly amenity such as chocolate chip cookies and milk.
- One Asus U3S notebook computer (approx $1500 value)
The total cash value of the prize is approximately US$6500.

One entry total per individual. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 PST, April 22nd 2008, and winners will be announced within the following 14 days. Each of the judging criteria (craftsmanship, design, adherence to contest theme, and originality) will be weighed equally.
