Serious Sam 3 to Finally See Light of Day in 2010
Posted 12/22/2009 at 05:22:11pm
Why were they wasting their time on Serious Sam HD?! They should of been making Serious Sam 3!
My buddy and i are hige Serious Sam fans and loved Serious Sam 2, serious Sam HD was pretty good, but i want more Serious Sam 2! It had more humor, more guns, and funkier (is that a word?) things to kill! we need more games like Serious Sam.Don't get me wrong, i love Call of Duty and Left4Dead style nitty-gritty games, but a good FPS where you do nothing but KILL KILL KILL is always nice. Add to that some humor, like finding some smurf-like things doing it in the bushes as a secret achievement, and you've got yourself a kickass game!

Windows 7 Review: XP vs Vista vs 7 in 80+ Benchmarks
Posted 11/01/2009 at 08:00:54am
My IT department says things like, "Oh its just an ID 10 T error, those never go away..."
I'm still running 7 x64 RC, and my computer never gets turned off (well, only when i HAVE to, and only when i wanna push the envelope a little more on my overclock) and i've been running the RC since June or July, and i can't wait to get myself a copy of the full version. 7 just feels faster, I'm running a Core2Duo e6550 (2.33 OC'd to 2.94) 4gbs of Mushkin DDR800 (oc'd to 1050mhz). Runs like a dream! Also, i installed the 32-bit version on my Atom based Acer Aspire one and it feels almost as quick as my dualcore.
I have one more thing to add, Windows Movie Maker. WMM was one of those apps that no body seemed to use 'cause there are better alternatives out there, but whenever i've had to use it, its been great foor things like cutting up videos.

$1000 Budget PC Buyer's Guide - October 2009
Posted 10/31/2009 at 07:08:09pm
I recently built a sub 1000$ computer for a friend, his bidget was 800 bucks, (i live in canada, and everything is more expensive, so..) i used an Antec Three Hundred (awesome case, i was dissapointed at MaxPC's review on it a while back, they gave it a 5...) anyway, mine had a Gigabyte P55-UD3, Core i5 750, 4gb OCZ gold DDR3 1333, WD black 500gb, Corsair HX 550watt PSU. He didn't need an optical drive. Anyway, it was a really good build. I love building rigs to a budget, and MaxPC's builds like this are really good at showing me just how much one can do on a lower budget.
