1.04.08 to 7.04.08: Seven months in the making.

This is a wood case from head to toe.

While I am a big golf fan (I play 2 to 5 times a week), this project has nothing to do with golf despite the name.

The name is derived from my desire to use as many different types of wood as possible in this project.

The wood types used in this project:

Mahogany
Red Oak
Cherry
Maple
Figured Walnut
Padauk
Aromatic Cedar
Red Cumala
Aspen

Zero veneers and no MDF or plywood fillers.
Zero purchased finished wood. All from board stock I re-sawed and processed myself.

This project was completely designed on-the-fly. Not a good idea and probably why it took me seven months.

Features include:

-removable motherboard tray as well as both drive bays.
-3.5’ Drive bay swivels to load and unload
-both side panels slide up to allow access to the inside
-case can come apart right down to the frame post. Minimal amount of glue in this build.
