The Mind Meld
I threw this computer together in a weekend about eight years ago. When the local schools upgraded, I would grab the old machines. Repair the ones that could be, and donate them to the needy families in town. Consequently I ended up with a pile of use parts in a big box. While bouncing the web one day I came across a computer mod competition.
This computer was fully operational for about six years. Now it collects dust in the back of my shop.
The case is made of old mother boards with a aluminum internal frame.
There are three exposed CPU cores on the front along with a stealthy CD optical drive.
On the very top it has a 1 inch by 2 inch clear crystal. I wired in a cheap red laser to the hard drive LED pointed at the bottom of the crystal. In a dark room with the screensaver running, the Crystal pulsates red like a heart beat.
This confuser needs a hard drive to make operational.
