This is a computer that I decided to put into this weird looking IKEA chair after winning it in a raffle at Quakecon 2004. Building A custom base to house The many Computer Parts, with custom brackets to hold my DVD-Rom. The chair sits right on top holding most anyone that sits on it. Later, after Quakecon 2005, I decided to add windows to the side. This was a challenge. I wanted to add windows, but still be able to hold up myself or anyone else that wanted to sit in the chair. I grabbed a test chair from IKEA, measured where I wanted the windows to be, and cut. To my amazement, the chair could still hold me up with two giant holes in the side. I couldn’t leave them open so I cut out some 1/8 inch acrylic panels to fit in the holes. I connected the acrylic with rivets and was very happy with what I had done.

This weird looking IKEA chair with nVidia’s logo on it has made it to Quakecon 2005 and 2006. Also at a Recreational Intel Gamer Group LAN in Austin Texas. Even making it on the Front page of the Fort Worth Star Telegram during Quakecon 2005.
