My brother was getting ready for a new computer and asked if I could build him one. Definately I said and started thinking about a theme. Well, to make it suit him, I decided that since he likes riding his Harley so much I would theme it after Harley Davidson. The first place I went to look for inspirations… yup, the Harley Davidson website. I quickly found the skull and wing line of theirs and noticed that the name “Willie G” was branded to each accessory with the skull and wings. With that, I thought I would pay tribute to grandson of the Founder of HD and name this mod “Project Willie G”. I based the mod to the wing and skull medallion which is placed on the front of the case and painted onto other areas. While looking for the right case, I kept going back to the Antec P182 Gun Metal and couldn’t resist. It had everything I needed, plus the gorgeous gun metal exterior. I started off by hacking away at it to add airflow, then began the process of building the trim pieces for both the exterior and interior. Once they were done it was time to add some light. The whole idea was to stay simplistic but detailed, tough and streamlined, you know, just like Harley Davidson. The color choice was simple for the mod as the whole world will always relate Orange and Black to Harley Davidson so the colors were selected for me really. The interior was powder coated and the rest done in the shop. The lighting added was orange, and all of the blue factory case lighting was changed to bright white. The half wing on the side is actually two wings with spacers in between them. This is to allow for airflow to get to the “Hidden” fan that was installed to the side panel.
