Fantastic! (check out my Treasure Chest for someone else making quiet and subtle HTPCs) How quiet is your Louis Vuitton? I’m not familiar with the Nitrogen NT-06 – any good? Do you have a worklog anywhere with higher def pic? Love it – got my vote!

I wanted to build and HTPC server that was both small, quiet, and had subtle appeal. For the theme, I was inspired by LV’s monogram series bags. The internal frame was disassembled and painted Khaki to match the inside of the bag.

For the front and panel cover, I painted with Hammered Copper to give it the bumpy leather appearance. Once the hammered paint was dried, I applied an LV Stencil to the the case and applied brown paint.

All the silver / mirror accent pieces were painted gold to match the metal hardware on the bag.
