My son went to Afghanistan the first of this year and in doing so brought the thoughts of doing some sort of small tribute to the soldiers to mind. Now, as some may know from my Venimus, Vidimus, Vicimus rig I am also co-clan leader of a UT3 and CoD4 online gaming clan, so it was only natural for the name of the game and the name used to describe the act of serving our country in many ad posters for decades be used.

Back at Christmas 2007 I had sold Tinkerbell on Ebay, and while dong so had run across this custom airbrushed Call of Duty case. Being Christmas, I just plain had plans for my money elsewhere. so I had to pass. Long story short, a couple months later, it re-surfaced on Ebay, and I contacted the owner with a proposition that would benefit the both of us, I hope greatly in the long run.

Now, the two of us have plans to work together hopefully on a few more upcoming mods. :) For now, I will put his online name here (until I have his permission to post his real name ;) ) .. he goes by ClausenLT on the Modders-Inc forums.

Now, here’s the deal … being that this case is already custom airbrushed I am of course doing things a bit backwards. Instead of buying the case, modding it then sending to the airbrush artist, I am modding it after it has been airbrushed, then sending it back to the artist to fix whatever I mess up and add anything I might need to. Really depends on how careful I am. lol And actually, during shipping the front panel was already broken and had to be replaced by Antec, so that will have to be repainted already. Off to a good start huh. LOL

Currently the chassis is completely disassembled and being prepped for a little cutting to improve a few things. The new front panel has been prepped for the Grenade! ;)
